Having just completed a long yet surprisingly smooth effort to convert our warehouse management and purchasing systems (Aquitec) from version 1.4 to 1.6, the Information Systems Staff will be turning our attention and focus to the customers of Associated Grocers of Maine. Our primary mission is to make it as easy as possible for our customers to do business with us by utilizing the internet to provide you with the information you need to run your business. In the pursuit of our primary goal there are many things that must be accomplished first.

First and foremost we will be increasing the power and size of our AS/400 in order to be able to store and process all the historical data that is required to provide our customers with the forecasting capabilities that have been requested. Secondly we are working to consolidate many of our different systems onto a limited number of platforms in order to achieve economies of scale and also in order to reduce support costs.

In keeping with our primary goal we would like to solicit your opinion. Please submit any and all requests that you may have for information that would help you run your business. We can't guarantee that we will be able to provide the information you request but I can assure you, if its within our power we will get it to you one way or another.
